Escape Inside the Pages of a Book
It's been a while... but I'm back, and so are my revamped and rebranded original novels, plus some exciting new ones are on the way!
BOOKS are a great escape - like you didn't already know that, but humor me. The moment you crack the spine and peel back the pages, something magical happens! Whether, you're reading, mystery, adventure, love or lust, and my personal favorite... fantasy with all of the above included, you're instantly transported into new worlds, and it's truly amazing how many worlds there are out there to live in, for a while, at least. Sometimes, I get so immersed in a good story, I don't even know the world around me exists. I also experience this while writing - but that's a story for another time.
Someone's heart, poured over page after page, can transport you to magical lands you've never dreamed were possible, places you've never actually been to, and some you have. Meet all sorts of interesting characters - BE those characters.
A good story will grip your heart in its claw and stroke it like it's an abandoned kitten. Then, with the turn of a page, it can also rip that purring heart to shreds, and stomp all over it, kicking it to the abyss of emotions. Either way, it gives us all the feels we long for. A great story will prickle the hairs on the back of your neck, make your tummy flutter, and your eyes pool at the corners - possibly all at once. As you surrender your sanity to the words, the World's problems chill and hover near the fringes of sanity. Then you release a languid sigh and snap the book shut, breathing in reality once more, with the knowledge that you can revisit that world any time you like, or enter a new one - the options are endless.
What are you waiting for... READ A BOOK - BE the characters - LIVE their lives - FEEL their plight - WANDER their no, your lands. It's all possible in the pages of a BOOK...
